Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Third Alternative Labs ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the Entheonaut mobile application ("the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and collecting only what is strictly necessary to operate the App.
1. Information We Collect
Entheonaut is designed to function without requiring an account or personal registration. We collect the following limited information:
- Device identifier: a randomly generated anonymous ID created on your device, used solely to associate community-submitted content with your device. This ID contains no personally identifiable information.
- Session and journal data: records of your in-app sessions and any journal entries you write are stored locally on your device only. We do not transmit or store this data on our servers.
- Community content: if you choose to share a session configuration with the community, the content you submit (session name, description, settings) is stored on our servers. No personal information is required or attached beyond the anonymous device identifier.
- Purchase information: if you subscribe, purchase and subscription status are managed by RevenueCat (see Section 4). We receive confirmation of your subscription status but do not have access to your payment details.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
- Your name, email address, or any contact information
- Your location
- Health or biometric data
- Your device's contacts, camera, microphone, or photo library
- Advertising identifiers
- Browsing history or cross-app tracking data
3. How We Use Information
The limited information we collect is used exclusively to:
- Display community-submitted session configurations within the App
- Verify subscription status to enable or restrict access to App features
- Maintain the integrity of the community library (e.g. preventing duplicate submissions)
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the App.
4. Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- RevenueCat: manages in-app purchases and subscription entitlements. RevenueCat may collect device identifiers and purchase data necessary to process and validate transactions. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
- Cloudflare: our API and website are hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare may process request metadata (such as IP addresses) as part of network routing and security. See Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
- Google Play: if you download the App via Google Play, Google's own privacy policy applies to that interaction. See policies.google.com/privacy.
5. Data Retention
Community content you submit is retained on our servers for as long as it remains posted. You may request deletion of any content you have submitted by contacting us at the address below. All other App data (sessions, journal entries, preferences) is stored only on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect the data stored on our servers, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all API communications. Because session and journal data never leaves your device, it is protected by your device's own security mechanisms.
7. Children's Privacy
Entheonaut is not intended for use by persons under the age of 18. The App uses stroboscopic light effects that may be harmful to individuals with photosensitive epilepsy or certain neurological conditions. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through the App, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
- Data portability
Because we collect only an anonymous device identifier and any community content you voluntarily submit, exercising most of these rights can be accomplished by uninstalling the App or contacting us to remove submitted content.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the date of the most recent revision. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
